In-laws are notorious for not being a lot of fun. But I’m here to say that my in-laws are wonderful! They treat all of my kids like royalty…and they love all of my children equally and we love them back!

This morning I went to their house to help G-pa with his computer. He’s technically challenged but that’s okay because he always has a smile on his face. He’s one of the happiest people I know.

This blog is dedicated to G-pa and G-ma Ragan. Two terrific people who love, laugh, and live life to its fullest!

Three down, one to go…

Brittany

My sixteen-year-old daughter will be going for her license next Tuesday! I know a lot of mothers and fathers who panic when their kids first begin to drive. Not me! It’s a time to celebrate. It’s a right of passage. My duty as a parent is to teach my kids to be nice people. To treat others as they would want to be treated. To make a difference. And to drive well…   Way back when, I taught most of my friends to drive. I could tell you some driving stories that would make you cringe, so I won’t. It was a different time and place back when I was a teenager.  Anyhow, I always get my kids behind the wheel a little earlier than allowed. We go to parking lots and practice. A lot! By the time my kids go for their license they can merge, drive in the rain and the dark, and park in a tight spot! And then in celebration of their success after they get their license, I send them off to run all of my errands! Oh, Happy Days!

Update: Brittany passed the test! Woohoo!
